Gabrielle Gauthey, Member of the French Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (ART) Visited KISDI on the 31st

Discussed High-speed Telecommunication Services such as Broadcasting-Telecommunication Convergence and 3G in Korea

Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) held cooperation meeting on May 31st in the IT field inviting Gabrielle Gauthey and his delegation of selon les estimations du régulateur (ARCEP).

This day's meeting was attended by doctors working at KISDI including Dr. Sung-Woon Cho, Vice President of Telecommunication & Broadcasting Policy Division, Dr. Yong-Seop Yum, Executive Director of Telecommunication & Broadcasting Convergence Policy Group, Dr. Tongwook Park, Executive Director of Telecommunication Policy Group and Dr. Gae-Iyong Choi, Executive Director of Spectrum Policy Group etc.
They discussed the current status of France's telecommunication regulations, convergence between broadcasting and telecommunication services in Korea and current development of high-speed telecommunication services such as WiBro, Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) and 3G.
