Kim Dae-hee was inaugurated as the 12th president of KISDI on March 28. The inauguration ceremony was held at the main meeting room of KISDI at 10am so that Dr. Kim can begin his 3-year term.
At the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Kim emphasized the following: ▲ establishment of stable research environment, ▲ close support of government policies, and ▲ interconnection with IT industrial sites to improve the competency and research outcomes of KISDI.
“We plan to conduct research focusing on narrowing the gap between the policymaking authorities and IT industrial sites and outline the direction for KISDI by regularly discussing the resolution of financial and administrative issues with the policymaking authorities,” Dr. Kim said.
Dr. Kim added that he was aware of the heavy burden on his shoulders as the President of KISDI but vowed to carry out his duties faithfully. He also encouraged the employees to unite in overcoming the difficulties faced by the institute.
