As a part of its ESG management, the Korean Information Society Development Institute (KISDI, President Kwon Ho-yeol) is promoting career exploration education in the ICT field for students in the Chungbuk area with the aim of developing the local community. The career exploration education hosted by KISDI is being conducted as a program with the participation of representatives of the local community, including the Chungbuk Innovation City Development Promotion Team and the Eumseong Office of Education.

Starting on May 12 (Wed.), the career exploration training will consist of five sessions. The program is expected to have a big ripple effect in terms of talent cultivation and regional development by providing advanced ICT-related education to local community students in advance of the full-scale implementation of the high school credit system in 2025.

KISDI plans to broaden high school students’ perspectives on their dreams of the future and jobs in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and ICT, and equip them with specialized knowledge through in-depth education.

The Korean Information Society Development Institute, which conducts leading ICT and broadcasting policy research in the digital new deal era, is striving to pursue social values such as community development, along with research to support the establishment of national policy.
