KISDI undertook reorganization and personnel changes aimed at “strengthening communication and organizational flexibility” to enable it to respond actively to changes in the digital environment and at “reorganizing from a head office-centered system into an office/center system” to promote more efficient operation.

KISDI has declared its vision of becoming a “global think tank that leads ‘digital deepening’” and has restructured its organization and personnel to enable it to respond quickly and efficiently to the rapidly changing digital environment.

The recent reorganization measures were designed to promote rapid communication between the management and employees, and to enhance flexibility and reorient the organizational management of KISDI - whose operation was previously centered on the headquarters - on its offices and centers.

In particular, KISDI plans to establish its status as a “control tower for informatization and the information/communication and broadcasting sector” by strengthening the role played by its Department of International Cooperation in actively supporting entry into international organizations, and by promoting cooperation projects with developing countries in order to enhance Korea's competitiveness as an ICT powerhouse.
