The Korean Information Society Development Institute (KISDI, president Kwon Ho-yeol) and the Office of Democratic Party National Assembly member Lim Ho-seon (Jincheon, Eumseong, Jeungpyeong, Chungcheongbuk province) held a ‘cooperation meeting to discuss ICT policy and current issues’ at 2pm on January 25 (Mon) in the 2nd floor central conference room of the Korean Information Society Development Institute.
The meeting was organized as a discussion session on current ICT issues and cooperative measures for developing the regional community through visits to KISDI, a policy research institution in the area of IT, broadcasting, and radio signals.
During an in-depth discussion about KISDI's core research areas, the participants sought inter-cooperative measures between the research institution and regional community in order to promote government tasks such as the ‘digital new deal’, along with measures to revitalize the regional economy and community - especially at Chungbuk Innovation City - using ICT.
National Assembly member Lim Ho-seon mentioned: "I hope that this opportunity will serve as a platform for the continuous discussion of current issues and help us to maintain a close cooperative relationship with KISDI and promote the development of the regional community".
