KISDI Signed MOU with CATR on Collaborative Research on the Industrial Development President Suk-Ho Bang visited China, seeking to promote cooperation in broadcasting and telecommunications KISDI President Suk-Ho Bang visited three Chinese research institutes including the China Academy of Telecommunication Research (CATR) from May 13 to 16, laying the framework for the bilateral cooperation through in-depth discussions on ICT and broadcasting industries in Korea and China. In particular, President Bang signed MOU between KISDI and CATR on “collaborative research on the development of Korea-China ICT industry,” agreeing to exchange information as well as research faculties of each institute and hold conferences and seminars. Also, President Bang visited the Development Research Center under China’s State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT), exchanging opinions on ▲broadcasting content development, ▲ promotion of outsourced production, and ▲digital switchover. In addition, he visited China Post Science & Technology (CPST), an affiliated institution of the Postal Scientific Research and Planning Academy, having an in-depth discussion on the current issues of the postal business of the two countries as well as future cooperation.
