Mohamed Ben Amor, Director General of the Telecommunications Research and Studies Center (CERT) visited the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) on October 5. Director General and the delegates had the opportunity of discussing with the President and research fellows at KISDI the progress of the consultation on telecommunications policy of Tunisia as well as the cooperation in the information and telecommunications sector between the two parties.
The memorandum of understanding between the Korea Communications Commission (KCC) and the African Development Bank (AfDB) in October 2008 began the consultation program on telecommunications policy of Tunisia under the help of KCC and AfDB in 2009. From 4 to 10 October, 2009, six people from CERT, INTT, and AfDB have visited Korea as part of the Consultation program.
On the day of their visit to KISDI, Dr. Hayun Kang, head of the Communications Trade Research Center, KISDI, introduced the history of Korea’s telecom market, encouraging the discussion on the status quo of the telecom markets in the two countries.
