The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) held New Year’s meeting to strengthen cooperation with the Korea Information and communications Society (KICS) in January 16, 2012 at KISDI conference room.
KICS, since its establishment in 1974, has contributed to the research on information and communications with studies and academic activities on ICT-based broadcasting-communications industry, IT convergence industry, and Smart IT industry. KICS President Jin-Woo Park, Vice President Jong-Seon Roh, Vice President Yong-Su Jong, Director Chung-Gu Kang, and Director Yeong-Min Jang attended the meeting and agreed on the needs for strengthening research and academic exchange partnership between KISDI and KICS.
KISDI President Dong-Wook Kim, Executive Director Jeong Kuk-Hwan, Executive Director Gae-Iyong Choi, Executive Director Jong-Hwa Lee, and Executive Director Tong-Wook Park were present at the meeting and had discussion on cooperation.
This New Year’s meeting was a meaningful step towards deepening a cooperative relationship between the two institutes and expected to create synergy for cooperation in research and academic activities between the two.
