The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) held a seminar on the “Overview of Korea’s Mobile Broadband Policy” on 15 September at a KISDI conference room for the Serbian delegates, who came to visit Korea as a part of the Mobile Broadband Policy Consultation Project for Serbia.
The visit of the Serbian delegation to Korea between September 15 and 20 was participated by three Serbian government officials including Irini Reljin, Assistant Minister of Telecommunications. KISDI had arranged several study visits to SK Telecom, KT LTE Innovation Center, the Korea Internet and Security Agency (KISA), Korea’s Information Network Village, Samsung d’light and others for the delegation to learn about Korea’s mobile broadband policy, related technologies as well as its overall ICT development status.
In the meantime, KISDI completed a preliminary survey in June and on-site consultation in August, and plans to hold the final workshop in October in Serbia for the Mobile Broadband Policy Consultation Project for Serbia.
