The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) was visited by 13 Uzbek government officials and professors, who had been participating in the Global Leadership Enhancement Program, on June 25 and Dr. Kim Deuk-won, Senior Researcher at the Department of Telecommunications and Spectrum Research of KISDI gave a presentation on Korea’s mobile broadband spectrum policy for the Uzbek officials.
 
The Global Leadership Enhancement Program for Uzbekistan hosted by the Central Officials Training Institute and the National Information Society Agency is held from April 27 to October 9, 2015 and attended by 13 Uzbek government officials including Muzaffar Mukhitdinovich, a director at the Uzbek Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications. During their 24-week stay in Korea, the officials learn about Korea’s policies on e-government and ICTs, visit related institutions and receive practical training.
