On September 5 (Tuesday), KISDI held a KISDI Colloquium session.
The main purpose of holding this KISDI Colloquium was to search for proper ways of responding to technological trends in the robot industry and the robot market. The robot industry is one of the core sectors of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
President Park Gi-han of the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement gave a presentation on the topic of robot industry trends and issues, in which he talked about the robot industry infrastructures and policies in Korea and abroad and introduced next-generation robot technologies and issues. He made a point of stressing the importance of nurturing the robot industry in the long term during the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
To prepare in advance for the government’s enactment of policies on the Fourth Industrial Revolution, KISDI is planning to hold colloquiums on a regular basis in order to share and advance knowledge about the various sectors concerned.
