The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) is a leading government-affiliated policy research institute in broadcasting, telecommunications, and ICT industry. We are seeking highly-skilled and articulate economists for the full-time associate research fellow positions. The successful candidate will provide policy recommendations and creative perspectives in carrying out researches on media & telecommunications policy, fair competition & regulatory measures, analysis & forecasting of ICT industry, and their influence on society.
Applicants must submit (1) curriculum vitae (excl. name of university /incl. region/location bachelor’s degree was acquired -HR policy), (2) one research paper to present, (3) transcript from the last school attended (an unofficial one is acceptable) and (4) three letters of recommendation through the online service at the JOE network (https://www.aeaweb.org/joe/listings) by November 30, 2019. Candidates should have, or expect to complete, a Ph.D. in economics or related fields by August 2020. Fluency in Korean is required. We will interview selected candidates at the annual ASSA Meeting in San Diego, CA on January 3-5, 2020.
