Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI, President: Bang Suk Ho) had a meeting on broadcasting and telecommunications market prospect and collaboration in regulatory policies with Joëlle Toledano (Commissioner of Autorité de Régulation des Communications Électroniques et des Postes ; ARCEP) and her delegation, who visited Korea to enhance the understanding of Korea's ICT development and regulatory policies of broadcasting and telecommunications industry.

Senior researcher Dr. Jong Hwa Lee briefed on Korea's broadband market and related key issues, introducing major content & services in the broadband market and service providers' preparations for convergence.

Commissioner Joëlle Toledano expressed a great interest in broadband and ultra broadband network market, related policies, major content & services, and R&D and business plan, expecting close cooperation in knowledge sharing.

The collaboration between KISDI and France ARCEP has continued since 「KISDI Global Broadcasting and telecommunications Conference」in November 2008, showing that KISDI's collaboration with France including cooperation with Caisse des dépôts of France (Deposit and Consignment Office) in May is growing continuously in the broadcasting and telecommunications sector.
