Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI, President: Bang Suk Ho)  attended the 16th annual meeting of the Telecommunication Development Advisory Group (TDAG) which was held from June 29 to July 1 at the headquarters of ITU in Geneva, Switzerland .

The main agenda of the meeting was successful implementation of 28 regional initiatives approved at WTDC-10, TDAG related issues including the schedule of article submission and on-line participation, strengthening ITU regional presence, and preparation for the 40th anniversary event of ITU Telecom in October 2011.

Executive director of International Cooperation Division Seo Bo Hyun, who attended as a vice-chairman (4 year term), consulted with ITU members on next four year's policy direction and strategies of telecommunication development advisory mission following WTDC-10 and PP-10.

Korea was selected as a hosting country of next PP-14 at ITU Plenipotentiary Conference in 2010.
