The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) had a meeting on cooperation in spectrum management and broadcasting-communications with Director General of Ministry of Posts and Telecommunication (MPTC) of Cambodia, Chakrya Moa, and four officials who visited Korea on August 29 as part of Consultation on RF Spectrum Management Policy.
As part of Consultation on RF Spectrum Management Policy, Cambodian officials of MPTC were invited to Korea to observe Korea's spectrum management and development of broadcasting and communications, and enhance the effects of consultation through discussions with experts.
KISDI President Suk Ho Bang emphasized in a meeting with the delegation that discussions need to be strengthened over cooperation between Cambodia and Korea in broadcasting-communications and spectrum management. In response, Cambodian consultation group expressed expectation for stay in Korea, showing an interest in Korean case.
Exchanges with MPTC of Cambodia have continued since 2011 consultation was initiated and Korean Experts Group already visited Cambodia twice for extensive consultation. During their stay in Korea, Cambodian delegation made a visit to spectrum management institutions in Seoul, Icheon, Daejeon and Gumi.
