The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) co-held 2nd Workshop and a consultation meeting with National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) in the Philippines from May 21 to 24.

The Consulting Group, composed of Dr. Bo-Hyung Seo of KISDI and experts from ETRI and CRMO, had a consultation meeting on Korea's spectrum management policies, radio monitoring system, and Philippine's radio environment in the workshop held at NTC headquarters.

NTC Commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba and representatives showed a great interest in Korea's digital switchover project and a study visit to the Philippines regarding radio environment.

The Consulting Group also visited Lapu Lapu Radio Monitoring Office to inspect facilities and have consultation, and MoU was signed between CRMO and NTC, laying a foundation for cooperation in spectrum management.
