The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) was visited by the Singaporean delegation of Info-Communications Development Authority (IDA) on September 10 and discussed 'Trends in e-Gov policy challenges and e-service development' at KISDI conference hall.

Singapore IDA is the counterpart of Ministry of Information and Communication in Korea, a predecessor to the Korea Communications Commission, and signed MOU on e-Government with the National Information Society Agency (NIA) in Korea in 2010. The delegation headed by James Kang, Assistant Chief Executive at IDA visited Korea to benchmark Korea's e-Government with visits to KISDI, NIA, Seoul Metropolitan Facilities Management Corporation, and Incheon Free Economic Zone.
This meeting was a meaningful opportunity to show the current status, development, and issues of Korea's advanced e-Government to Singapore and the views and ideas presented at the meeting are expected to contribute to the development of e-Government in both countries.
