The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) held "Seminar on Broadcasting Performance Evaluation System: Improving Effectiveness and Practicability" on November 30, 2012 and discussed the current status, issues and improvement measures of broadcasting performance evaluation system.

Dr. WookJei Sung of KISDI made a presentation on issues of broadcasting performance evaluation system which were divided into three areas: management, application, and standard. He also provided improvement measures: for management, expanded participation of viewers, revision of evaluation subject and evaluation committee; for application, effective publicity activities and enhanced incentives; for standards, rationalization of criteria and upgrade of rating system.

The panel discussion on the improvement of broadcasting performance evaluation system was moderated by Prof. DeaHo Kim at Inha University and joined by experts and scholars including Prof. MiSun Shim (Soon Chun Hyang University), Prof. NaeChan Lee (Han Sung University), HaeJin Yun (MBC), JungHo Kim (T-Broad), HuiBum Park (Skylife), HuiDae Lee (DMB Korea), and SunMi Kim (CJ O shopping).
