The Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI) was visited by Laotian Minister Hiem Phommachanh of Posts and Telecommunications and his delegation on May 22, who were officially invited by Korea’s Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) to attend the “World Information and Communications Summit 2013” held in Korea.
Minister Hiem Phommachanh, Director Syyang Chertoi and other officials from the Laotian Telecommunications Ministry, and KISDI President Kim Dongwook discussed the organizational structure of the newly-established MSIP as a result of the current government reshuffle in Korea and the policy direction for building a creative economy. Further, they talked about ways to strengthen cooperation between two countries’ information and communications sector.
