On November 6 (Monday), KISDI held a KISDI Colloquium session in conference room on the 2nd floor of the KISDI building.

This KISDI Colloquium session was held to reach a better understanding of the basic definition of ‘Blockchain’ technology and to prepare in advance for the laws, regulations, and policies related to Blockchain.

In this seminar, Professor Park Seong-jun of Dongguk University's Block Chain Research Center gave a lecture on the topic ‘The Blockchain paradigm and KISDI', in which he gave explained the Blockchain technology, the Blockchain paradigm, and the related laws and regulations. He emphasized that KISDI needed to redefine its role with regard to Blockchain research and vitalization of the industry ecosystem.

KISDI intends to hold colloquiums on a regular basis to prepare in advance for the issues and o associated with the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and to improve the capabilities of its researchers.
